Astra Development ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Screen Time Digital Detox mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Screen Time Data: The App uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, ManagedSettings) to monitor and block app usage. All screen time data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Usage Statistics: The App tracks your daily app usage, blocking sessions, unlock durations, and streaks. This data is stored only on your device.

Onboarding Preferences: During setup, you provide information about your screen time habits, problem apps, and reduction goals. This data is stored locally to personalize your experience.

Purchase Information: If you subscribe to premium features, purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat as a payment processor to manage subscriptions. We do not store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To block selected apps and enforce screen time limits
• To display real-time countdown timers in the Dynamic Island
• To track your daily screen time statistics and progress
• To calculate your daily focus score and streaks
• To personalize recommended limits based on your goals
• To manage your premium subscription status
• To send local notifications for limit warnings
• To display Lock Screen widgets with your stats

3. Data Storage

All your data (usage history, blocking preferences, settings, and onboarding choices) is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and App Group shared containers. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external server.

4. Apple Screen Time API

The App uses Apple's FamilyControls framework to monitor and restrict app usage. This API is designed with privacy in mind:

• App selections are represented by opaque tokens — the App cannot see which specific apps you select
• Usage data stays on device and within Apple's privacy sandbox
• The App cannot access your browsing history, messages, or personal content

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat - for subscription management (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
• Apple ActivityKit - for Dynamic Island and Live Activities (processed locally)

6. Notifications

The App sends local notifications to warn you when approaching your screen time limit and to remind you of your streaks. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete the App and all locally stored data at any time
• Revoke Screen Time permissions in Settings > Screen Time
• Disable notifications in your device settings
• Manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account
• Request information about your data by contacting us

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
